It is time to start thinking about children heading back to School. The first month of School is one of the most dangerous for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists. Please drive cautiously in and around School grounds as many traffic safety actions have been forgotten since the last time School was in session. Motorists please do not park in, block or impede cross walks, stop on the roadway to unload passengers or make improper U-Turns. Pedestrians please ensure that cross walks are utilized, proper checks are made before crossing and sidewalks are used.
Together everyone can help ensure that everyone gets to School safely.
