CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

The Town of Gibbons, with a population approaching 3,000 people, is a safe, progressive municipality that has a strong sense of community and family. Reporting to the Mayor and Council, the CAO is responsible for the provision of effective resolute administrative leadership for the Town.  

In addition to having a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in senior management, the candidate should have: 
• proven track record in Municipal operations
• proven decisive management, communications and interpersonal skills 
• proven experience managing growth and infrastructure renewal
• grant preparation and budgeting experience
• a certificate in Local Government Administration or relevant post-secondary education will be considered
