Provides the educational needs of children in Gibbons and surrounding areas for Grades five through Grades nine.

Creative With Kids ~ Rhythm and Rhyme Program - Gibbons Community Services 780- 923-3331

This prevention program provides parents and caregivers of preschool children techniques that will improve their children's literacy skill and enhance bonding between the adult and child.  This program also provides an opportunity for parents to meet other parents of preschool children, learn about child development and positive parenting techniques.

Headstart Program - 780- 939-4341

The Headstart Program is a pre-kindergarten program designed for children between the ages of 3 1/2 and 5 who have needs that would benefit from extensive early childhood readiness skills.

Kings Kids Preschool -

The Kings Kids Preschool’s primary purpose is to aid in and contribute to the development of   three  to five year old children.  This is accomplished by providing opportunities for the child to develop spiritually, socially, mentally, emotionally, and physically in an atmosphere that is interesting, stimulating, and fun.

Sturgeon Learning Centre - 780- 923-2443

The Sturgeon Learning Centre is an alternative high school which provides high school credit courses in a flexible, individualized format.  Young adults ages 15 to 19 or adult students 20 years and older are able to obtain high school courses.

This program provides adults with opportunity to improve their reading and writing literacy through one on one instruction with volunteer tutors.   The service is provided in a location convenient to the adult learner and is confidential.
